Norrlands trä
The Swedish company NORRLANDS TRÄ was founded in 1973 and is a leading manufacturer of premium interior pine wood paneling.
NORRLANDS TRÄ is an environmentally conscious company that uses wood from certified Swedish forests. These forests are managed in an economically, socially and biologically responsible manner. This means that biodiversity is preserved, forest recreational areas are protected, workers’ rights are taken into account and wood is used to its maximum potential. The wood pulp residues that are produced during the production of interior wood panels are converted into pellets. NORRLANDS TRÄ heats its premises with these pellets and sells the surplus locally.
Application of wooden cladding
NORRLANDS TRÄ interior wooden coverings can be used as wall and ceiling coverings. It is a natural material that is durable and has a long service life, making it a cost-effective solution for covering walls and ceilings.
Interior wood cladding gives a unique personality to a home and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Such interior design gives a feeling of closeness to nature, and studies show that natural materials like wood have a calming effect and contribute to our well-being. In addition, interior design with wood cladding is environmentally friendly and has a minimal impact on the environment compared to other materials.
Made of the highest quality pine
NORRLANDS TRÄ interior wood panels are made of pine wood and have a moisture content of 8%. This gives them a stable structure and shape, and they do not warp over time.
The surface of the interior wooden cladding can be:
- brushed – the surface is treated with rotating brushes that remove soft wood from the surface. The wood paneling thus becomes more durable and has a clear wood structure.
- smooth – the surface has been treated with sandpaper and is therefore very soft and smooth. This surface is similar to that of quality wooden furniture.
- finely sawn – the surface has been carefully sawn to create a rough and rough surface, so that the structure of the wood can be clearly felt. The sawn surface becomes rougher the higher the percentage of moisture in the wood.
Interior wood paneling can be brown, black, beige and multiple shades of gray and white.
Maintenance of coverings
NORRLANDS TRÄ interior wood panels are durable and most stains can be wiped off with a slightly damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be wiped off with special wood care products. The panels can be vacuumed with a soft brush and wiped with a dry, soft microfiber cloth.
